One link instead of a PDF

A CV attachment gets opened once, if at all. A link gets opened on a phone, on the train, by someone who has ten minutes between meetings. Put everything a recruiter needs behind one address and send that instead.

What to put on yours

  • A photo. A name with a face attached is remembered; a name alone is not.
  • The role you want and where. "Looking for a junior audit role in KL, available immediately" tells someone in five seconds whether to keep reading.
  • A link to your CV, so the file is one tap away rather than attached to an email you have not sent yet.
  • Your portfolio, transcript, certifications — anything checkable. Verifiable facts beat adjectives.
  • One way to reach you that you actually check.

How people will get it

  • In the message or email where you would have attached the CV.
  • In your email signature, under your name.
  • As a QR code on a printed CV at a career fair.
  • In your LinkedIn profile, in place of a personal website you have not built.
